this is my love letter to San Francisco
I would never live there. there are too many people. the traffic is terrible. California sucks. some of the many excuses i used to come up with.
do we move here?
This one simple question changed it all. One easter weekend my partner and I decided to head down to SF to see some friends and go to a concert. Did we know that this weekend would be the beginning of the end to our life in Vancouver? No, absolutely not.
SF really pulled out all the stops. The weather was perfect, sunny and 70 degrees all weekend. The show was Friday night, but that was not the only thing going on. It just so happened to be easter weekend. typically a time synonymous to Jesus. In SF that is the case but in it’s unique way. The hunky Jesus and sexy Mary competition in Dolores Park had been going on since 1979.
